350-Powered 1962 Chevrolet Corvette 4-Speed

This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is said to have been refurbished under prior ownership approximately 15 years ago with work that included a repaint in silver as well as the installation of a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The interior is trimmed in red vinyl, and a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity has been installed. Additional modifications include an aluminum radiator, a Holley Street Dominator intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. This C1 Corvette is now offered with a Florida title.

The fiberglass body was refinished in silver during the refurbishment completed under prior ownership circa 2009, according to the seller. Equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, dual side mirrors, and split chrome bumpers.

The black-painted 15″ steel wheels wear full covers and are wrapped in reproduction BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. A power rack-and-pinion steering conversion has been installed along with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The two bucket seats are upholstered in red vinyl, and interior equipment includes RetroSound digital stereo, a cue-ball shift knob, and an analog clock.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 500 miles. The speedometer cable was replaced in preparation for the sale, and the seller notes the speedometer needle jumps intermittently while driving. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 350ci V8 was installed in 2009 according to the seller, and it is topped with a Holley Street Dominator aluminum intake manifold and an Edelbrock AVS 2 four-barrel carburetor. An aluminum radiator is accompanied by an electric cooling fan.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. The dual exhaust system utilizes MagnaFlow mufflers.
