This 1969 Porsche 912 coupe spent approximately 20 years in North Carolina as a stalled project before it was acquired by the seller in 2024. The car is a non-running project finished in orange over black leatherette upholstery and is equipped with a 1.6-liter flat-four, a five-speed manual transaxle, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, bright bumper guards, sugar scoop headlights, and front bucket seats. This 912 coupe shows 54k miles and is offered at no reserve with a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Polo Red (012) and was refinished under previous ownership in orange. Exterior details include chrome sugar scoop headlights, bright bumpers, and pop-out rear quarter windows. The paint is oxidized and areas of rust-through are visible around the car.
The 15″ perforated steel wheels are mounted with flat-spotted tires. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in black leatherette upholstery. Appointments include an ashtray, lap and shoulder belts, and crank windows. Weathering and wear are visible throughout the interior, and rust-through is visible on the floors, heater channels, and door sills.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation including a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, supplementary gauges, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles.
The 1.6-liter flat-four was factory rated at 90 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque and features dual Solex carburetors. The engine has not been started for approximately 20 years, and it does not turn over by hand.
The car is equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle. Rust-through is visible on various components and additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.
The car does not come with any keys.
