This 1969 Chevrolet Nova coupe was first sold in California in 1969 and was acquired by the current owner’s mother circa 1979. The car has been refinished in green and is powered by a 307ci V8 that is backed by a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, a Pioneer cassette player, a Grant GT steering wheel, and black vinyl upholstery. Acquired by the current owner in 2023, this Nova coupe is now offered by the seller on the owner’s behalf at no reserve with spare parts and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
Finished from the factory in Olympic Gold, the car was repainted in its current shade of green at some point under prior ownership. Exterior details include dual side mirrors and chrome bumpers and trim. An inspection report provided in the gallery notes paint flaws on the hood, a broken grille, and scratches and chips around the car. Discoloration on exterior lighting is reported, and there are various cracks and chips in the glass.
The chrome-finished 14″ wheels feature baby moon hubcaps and are mounted with 195/70 Lemans Champion SE tires. A matching spare is stored in the trunk. Rear air shocks have been installed.
The front and rear bench seating has been re-trimmed in black vinyl. Appointments include a Pioneer cassette player, front vent windows, and a heater. The air conditioner does not blow cold, and the window cranks, interior light, and horn do not work. Noted flaws include discoloration on the rearview mirror and wear on the door panels.
The Grant GT steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 3,800 miles.
The 307ci Turbo-Fire V8 was factory equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and rated at 200 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
