This 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is a blue four-door sedan that was acquired by the seller in 2021, reportedly from the grandson of the original owner, and it was subsequently fitted with a modified small-block Chevy V8. The engine was bored .040″ over and assembled with an Eagle crankshaft and pistons, H-beam connecting rods, and a Lunati camshaft, and power is routed through a modified TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a PosiTraction differential with 3.36:1 gears. The cabin was fitted with sound-deadening material and replacement carpets along with Cadillac CTS-sourced bucket seats, and appointments include a B&M shifter, aftermarket gauges, a JVC cassette deck, and Pioneer speakers. This Chevy II Nova sedan is now offered with records and a clean Louisiana title in the seller’s name.
This four-door sedan example left the factory finished in Silver Blue (912), and details include a bright grille and headlight bezels, aftermarket halo-style headlights, tinted windows, and Chevy II and Nova badging. The rear bumper and decklid are dented and rust is noted on the lower doors. Photos of the condition of the exterior are provided in the gallery.
Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with a mixed set of BFGoodrich and Douglas tires. The seller notes the brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes were replaced under current ownership.
The power-adjustable front bucket seats are said to have been sourced from a late-model Cadillac CTS and are trimmed in black leather. The southwest-style seat covers match the floor mats lining the footwells, and replacement carpets were laid on top of sound-deadening material. Details include a B&M shifter assembly, a center console, and a JVC cassette deck linked to Pioneer speakers. The heater is not functional, corrosion is noted on the doors, the headliner is stained, and photos displaying the condition of the cabin are provided in the gallery.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a spinner knob and frames factory instrumentation, while an Equus tachometer sits on the steering column. Backlit ancillary readouts for water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 350ci V8 was installed in 2022, and it reportedly utilizes two-bolt main bearings and was bored .040″ over. It was assembled with an Eagle crankshaft and pistons, H-beam connecting rods, a Lunati camshaft, roller rockers, and a Holley Demon carburetor atop an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. The fuel tank and sending unit were replaced under current ownership.
The seller states the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission is equipped with a B&M performance shift kit, and the 10-bolt rear axle features a PosiTraction differential and 3.36:1 gears. Summit Racing headers flow to a 3″ dual exhaust system with chambered mufflers.
