This 1971 Porsche 911T coupe is a rest-of-world example that was taken off the road in the 1980s and was acquired as a non-running project by the seller in 2016. The car wears gray primer, and the interior has been stripped apart from the dash, shifter, and steering wheel. It is equipped with a 2.2-liter flat-six, a five-speed 901 manual transaxle, a whale-tail rear spoiler, a 911S-style front bumper, and 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels. This longhood 911T coupe is now offered in New Mexico at no reserve with a Bonded Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car reportedly was finished in orange from the factory, was previously repainted red, and has been coated in gray primer. It is fitted with a whale-tail spoiler and a 911S-style front bumper. The lighting, badging, windshield, and rear glass have been removed. There is rust behind the front wheels and in the wheel wells.
The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are not a matching set and are mounted with older mismatched tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners.
The interior has been stripped and houses black fold-down rear seats, a shifter, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a dashboard. Additional photos showing the condition of the floors are provided in the gallery. No gauges are fitted, and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.2-liter flat-six is not equipped with a fan, shroud, carburetors, ignition components, or wiring. A five-speed 901 manual transaxle is retained. The engine does not turn over by hand.
Additional photos of the underbody are provided in the gallery.
The Texas title is bonded.
