Powered 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe

This 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe was acquired by the seller in 1986, and refurbishment work spanning two decades was completed in 2024. Power is provided by a 383ci stroker V8 that is fitted with a Holley air cleaner, carburetor, and intake manifold and is backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Refinished in orange over black vinyl, the car has 17″ Foose wheels, front disc brakes, a rear spoiler, an AutoMeter tachometer, and an aftermarket sound system with a Pioneer head unit and Focal speakers. This Camaro is now offered with a car cover and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The seller notes that the car was finished in Hugger Orange circa 2010 following bodywork, rust repair, and the replacement of the quarter panels. Front-end damage under prior ownership is reported. There are paint chips and the right door is difficult to close. Exterior details include a rear spoiler, bright trim, and chrome bumpers.

Foose 17″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 245/45 rear Toyo Proxes tires. The car features power steering, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The shocks, rear springs, and front-end bushings were replaced during the refurbishment work.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl, and the interior houses a center console as well as a Pioneer CD stereo linked to Focal speakers. The door panels were replaced in 2016.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer and an AutoMeter tachometer mounted to the steering column. A trio of aftermarket readouts is mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, and the dash cluster was replaced in 2010.

The 383ci stroker V8 was installed under current ownership and is fitted with a Holley air cleaner assembly, carburetor, and intake manifold as well as MSD ignition. The exhaust system and fuel tank were also replaced following the seller’s acquisition.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, which the seller notes was rebuilt under current ownership. The seller notes that the rear end gearing was changed to a 3:55 during their ownership.
