Powered 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was modified under previous ownership in the style of a Pro Street build and was acquired by the seller in 2020. The car is powered by a 468ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a locked rear differential with 3.73:1 gearing and is finished in metallic blue over white vinyl. Equipment includes an AED Performance Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a COMP Cams camshaft, PBM Performance cylinder heads, Strange Engineering axles, front disc brakes, a line lock system, tubbed rear wheel wells, staggered Billet Specialties wheels, a cowl induction hood, a rear spoiler, a half cage, fire extinguishers, a Winters Sidewinder shifter, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a custom sound system. This modified Camaro coupe is offered with an owner’s manual, service records, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The body left the factory finished in Butternut Yellow and was refinished under previous ownership in metallic blue with a white nose stripe. Exterior details include a cowl induction hood, dual side mirrors, bright rocker trim, a rear spoiler, chrome bumpers, and SS badging. The hideaway headlights and windshield wipers do not work, and the rear-exit exhaust outlets are misaligned.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in November 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT is currently restricted.

The rear wheel wells have been tubbed, and Billet Specialties 15″ wheels are mounted with 26×7.5″ Mickey Thompson tires up front and 31×16.5″ Hoosier tires out back. Suspension includes tubular control arms, replacement tie rods, and a pitman arm. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums, and a line lock system is installed.

The front bucket seats are upholstered in white vinyl that extends to the door panels. Appointments include a half cage, dual fire extinguishers, a Winters Sidewinder shifter, an auxiliary switch panel, and a Sony head unit linked to Pioneer speakers. The heater does not work. The seller notes that the nitrous setup has not been run on the car, and a nitrous bottle, bottle mounts, and braided lines are included in the sale.

AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer with a column-mounted shift light joined by auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are housed in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 1 mile, and the seller reports that approximately 1,300 miles have been added under current ownership.

The seller states that the 454ci V8 was bored over under prior ownership to displace 468ci and is equipped with a two-bolt main, a steel crankshaft, Speed Pro pistons, and Clevite main and rod bearings. Additional components noted by the seller include the following:

The crankshaft seal was replaced in 2020 and the spark plugs were replaced in 2023. Work in 2024 involved replacing the oil pan, repairing the wiring for the ignition switch, and rebuilding the carburetor. A nitrous oxide system is partially installed but not currently operational.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and a rear end with 3.73:1 gearing and a locked differential. The seller states that Strange Engineering axles are fitted and a replacement flex plate was installed in 2020. The transmission brake is not connected.
