This 1970 Porsche 911T Targa is a non-running project that was recently acquired by the selling dealer after reportedly remaining in storage for the previous 20 years in British Columbia. The car is equipped with a 2.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is refinished in black over a stripped cabin. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs wheels, a stainless steel Targa bar, a black dashboard, and a four-spoke steering wheel. This 911T Targa is now offered at no reserve with removed parts, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and British Columbia registration.
Finished from the factory in Pastel Blue (20), the body was repainted in the current shade of black under previous ownership. Equipment includes front and rear bumpers, along with a stainless steel Targa bar. The Targa panel, windshield, and rear window have been removed, along with the headlights and taillights.
The 15” Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with older Michelin Energy MXV4 tires. The car is also equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin is stripped, while a black upper dashboard and passenger door panel remain. Rust is noted in the floor pans.
A worn four-spoke steering wheel is fitted on the steering column.
The front trunk houses the fuel tank and a removed section of the wiring harness.
The 2.2-liter flat-six is said to turn freely by hand and is equipped with dual carburetors and airbox. The engine is linked to a five-speed manual transaxle.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists the factory colors and options and equipment for the US market.
The car is registered in a country that does not issue titles. It is being sold on its registration.
