The air conditioning refrigerant was recharged in preparation for the sale.
The three-spoke woodgrain steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 600 of which were added . The tilt-away steering wheel intermittently works. The speedometer gear was replaced in 2019, and total mileage is unknown.
The 428ci Cobra Jet V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel Holley carburetor and was rated at 360 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2019 included replacing the differential pinion seal, cleaning and servicing the carburetor, and installing a high-torque starter motor. The fuel pump and filter were replaced and the coolant was flushed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2008.
