This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a non-running project that is equipped with a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission that were installed in 2000. The paint has been removed from the fiberglass body, and additional equipment includes drum brakes, black-finished steel wheels, fender vents, and headlight and taillight openings. The interior equipment has been removed. This C1 project was acquired by the seller in 2010 and is offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The paint has been removed from the fiberglass body and the convertible top is missing. Evidence of body repair is visible in the gallery. Details include doors without exterior handles as well as a fuel filler opening on the left-rear quarter panel, fender vents, and headlight and taillight openings.
