Brands:

This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette is a non-running project that is said to have been sitting in a shed since 1988. The car has a 283ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission, and it is painted in black over red vinyl. Equipment includes a single four-barrel carburetor, 15″ steel wheels, a heater, and an AM radio.

The car is painted black with matching coves, and blemishes and imperfections. The white soft top is torn and there is corrosion on the bumpers and trim.

The 15″ steel wheels feature simulated knock-off spinner covers and were mounted with replacement tires in March 2025. The brake system is comprised of four-wheel drums.

The two bucket seats are upholstered in red vinyl, and interior equipment includes a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater, an AM radio, and an analog clock. The driver’s seat is torn and additional wear and discoloration.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles.

The 283ci V8 was factory equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor for a rating of 230 horsepower when new.

The CQ suffix is consistent with a 283ci V8 rated at 230 horsepower and designated for a 1961 Corvette a four-barrel carburetor and a manual transmission.

The car has a three-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is present on underside components.
