This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was refurbished in the 2000s, first sold on BaT in October 2021, and acquired by the selling dealer following a June 2023 BaT auction. A replacement 383ci V8 was installed during the build and equipped with a Holley carburetor, MSD ignition, a BeCool radiator, and long-tube headers, and power is routed through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive. The car is finished in black and features a black convertible top, red stripes, front and rear spoilers, 18″ and 20″ five-spoke alloy wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. The cabin is outfitted with a horseshoe-style shifter, a center console, a retro-look Bluetooth radio, and red vinyl upholstery. This Camaro was previously offered by the selling dealer on BaT in September 2024 and is now offered again in Virginia with a clean Utah title.
The car was repainted in black with red side stripes and the trunk floor was replaced under previous ownership. Features include a black soft top with a red top boot in addition to front and rear lip spoilers, chrome-finished bumpers, fog lamps, and faux hood and fender vents. The vacuum-power components for the headlight covers have been removed, and the headlight covers require manual operation.
Polished 18″ and 20″ five-spoke wheels wear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. The car is equipped with power steering, front and rear sway bars, and four-wheel disc brakes with braided stainless steel hoses. Larger faux brake rotors can be seen through the wheels.
A red “Comfort Weave” vinyl interior was installed in September 2021, and it is complemented by a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Woodgrain trim accents the lower dashboard, and amenities include a center console, lap belts for all occupants, a horseshoe-style shifter, and a retro-style Bluetooth head unit. The seller notes that the right turn signal does not self-cancel.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an analog clock. Green backlights illuminate the dash gauges, and auxiliary readouts are integrated into the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 383ci stroker V8 breathes through a Holley Demon carburetor and a chrome air cleaner cover. It is further equipped with a BeCool aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, a front-runner-style serpentine drive setup, MSD electronic ignition, and a high-torque starter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission equipped with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. Long-tube headers flow to a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
